JP Motorsport has finalised the driver line-ups for its two-car assault on next year's Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS Endurance Cup.
Following a handful of one-off outings in recent seasons, the Polish squad announced last month that it will field a pair of McLaren 720S entries in 2022, with regular driver Christian Klien leading the charge. The Austrian will be joined in team's Pro effort by Vincent Abril and Dennis Lind, forming an impressive trio with vast GT3 experience.
Abril switches to the JP outfit for what will be his eighth season in the Endurance Cup after three seasons with Mercedes-AMG. Prior to this the 27-year-old Monegasque was a Bentley factory driver and finished as championship runner-up in 2017.
Lind is also well established in the series having driven factory cars for Lamborghini and more recently Audi. What's more, the Danish ace clinched this year's British GT title after an impressive campaign with Barwell Motorsport.
The second JP Motorsport McLaren will see team owner Patryk Krupinski joined by Maciej Blazek and Joel Mesch for what is likely to be a Pro-Am or Gold Cup effort. Driver line-ups for the team's Sprint Cup programme are yet to be confirmed.
The 2022 Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS season begins with the official test days at Circuit Paul Ricard on 7-8 March, while the competitive action kicks off at Imola on 1-3 April.
