For BMW Sports Trophy Team Marc VDS, the new season sees a focus on some of the toughest events in GT racing. Among them, the Total 24 Hours of Spa. The reigning Blancpain Endurance Series team champion in the Pro class has high ambitions for the Belgian classic, and aims clearly for the win.
The team will count on the support from BMW Motorsport both on the engineering and the driving side, with a number of BMW works drivers joining the squad. The line-up for the Total 24 Hours of Spa will be announced in due course.
Bas Leinders, Team Principal: “For us, 2014 is all about doing the right preparation in order to be in the best possible position to win. 24-hour races are so difficult, so demanding, that no matter your preparation you can never be sure of anything. But we will do everything we can to ensure that we are in the best shape. We were very competitive during the last couple of editions, so we can be sure the pressure is on this time round! We’ve learned a lot the last years. With our knowledge of the car and each other as a team, I think we are as ready as ever. It’s fantastic to once again be able to count on BMW Motorsport as a partner.”
