Boutsen-Ginion Racing announces BMW M6 GT3 drivers

Belgian squad Boutsen-Ginion Racing recently announced that it will enter a BMW M6 GT3 in the upcoming Blancpain GT Series and the team of Olivier Lainé and Olivia Boutsen has also unveiled the names of some of its drivers. Boutsen-Ginion Racing continues with Karim Ojjeh and Olivier Grotz, the drivers who took the Am Cup in last year's Silverstone round of the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup. The name of the third driver will be announced shortly.

Olivier Grotz: "The winter break has been quite long now, which means that I was really quite excited to see the first pictures of this brand new BMW. I think the car is even better looking than it’s predecessor and I am looking forward to seeing it in the flesh. I hope that we will be as competitive with the new car as we were with the old one. The first race and tests of the car seemed quite promising. I can’t wait to meet up with the team on a track to do the first laps on board of the 2016 BMW M6 GT3."

Karim Ojjeh: “I am sure that I can speak for the team and my co-drivers, when I say that we are all impatient to getting our hands on the new monster!  Unfortunately, our old Bat Mobile had to be left behind for this new contender, for which we still have to find a new nick name. It will take us some time to adjust to the big body, but we have to be competitive from the start.”
