SRO Motorsports Group and Champagne house Vranken-Pommery have engaged in a new partnership for the Total 24 Hours of Spa, adding a prestigious name to an already impressive list of important partners.
Champagne house Vranken-Pommery is the latest of distinguished companies joining SRO Motorsports Group for the Total 24 Hours of Spa. Not only will their champagne be sprayed by the podium finishers of the highlight of the Blancpain Endurance Series, the nectar will also be served in all SRO hospitalities during the Ardennes endurance classic.
Vranken-Pommery Monopole was founded in 1976 by Paul-François Vranken. Thanks to his vision and passion for great French winemaking, the company has grown over the years and is now made up of a collection of exceptional vineyards totalling more than 2,500 hectares, in Champagne, France, the Douro Valley of Portugal, and the Mediterranean region.
Over the years, Vranken has joined together with three other Champagne houses, Pommery, Heidseick & Co. Monopole, and Charles Lafitte. The group comes in second in the ranking of Champagne houses, but is the world's number-one producer of rosés.
Marcel Monnier (Managing Director Vranken-Pommery Benelux): "Vranken-Pommery was looking to enter a partnership with an international event, the reputation of which continues to grow both in Belgium and across the borders. The Total 24 Hours of Spa proved to be the perfect candidate for such a partnership."
