Today sees the release of the poster for the 2015 Total 24 Hours of Spa. It shows all the stars of this year’s edition of the biggest GT race in the world: the cars, the track… and Martin Solveig, who will be the headliner on the music stage on Saturday July 25th.
The poster of the 2015 Total 24 Hours of Spa is bound to become a classic among the long line of hand-drawn posters that have graced the event for years now. This year’s edition of the Blancpain GT Series highlight is set to be a great vintage, with at least 65 cars on the entry list. At least half a dozen prestigious car manufacturers will enter factory-supported cars, which will be driven by the best GT drivers on the planet. Some of the most recent new machinery will be in the Ardennes as well: no fewer than four new Audi R8 LMS will participate in the Belgian endurance classic, while the new McLaren 650S GT3 and Lamborghini Huracan GT3 have already shown promising performances in the opening rounds of the 2015 Blancpain Endurance Series.
The race will start in the afternoon of Saturday July 25th, but there is plenty of opportunity to see those fabulous machines prior to the race. The week of the Total 24 Hours of Spa starts on Tuesday July 21st with the new Bronze/Silver test, on Wednesday you can have a close-up look at the cars and drivers during the traditional parade and autograph session in downtown Spa, while on Thursday and Friday the free practice and qualifying sessions will give you a first idea of the strengths of each of the teams.
Be sure to come to get your tickets in time though, because this year you will be able to attend the grid walk for the Total 24 Hours of Spa as well. A limited number of tickets will be available and will be sold via ticketmaster.be. It is a unique opportunity to admire cars and drivers from up close, only minutes before the start of the race.
But the Total 24 Hours of Spa is not only about racing, it also about entertainment. It has become a tradition that the stage in the Village welcomes an internationally renowned artist on Saturday night and this year it will be French hit producer and DJ Martin Solveig. Solveig not only has four critically acclaimed studio albums under his belt and boasts a #1 hit in several countries with ‘Hello’, he is also constantly reinventing himself. On his latest album ‘Intoxicated’ he has opted for a punchy future house vibe that bursts with colour at every turn. Solveig begins a new chapter in his illustrious musical career and few can predict what he has in store for us next, but you can be sure that with his DJ set he will get you dancing in no time.
Before the party on the main stage gets underway, fans of the Total 24 Hours of Spa can also admire the amazing riders from the Circus Trial Tour. This spectacular trial show takes place in the Village, where multiple trial champions Fred Crosset and Christophe Bruand will show you tricks on a trial bike that you would never believe possible.
It is clear that the Village will be the epicentre of the off-track entertainment during the biggest race of the Blancpain GT Series, with plenty of activities for the whole family. Bumper cars, fairground rides, drink and food stands, merchandising shops : you can find everything in the Village. And in case you were wondering about the price of all this: everything – yes, the Martin Solveig DJ Set as well – is included in the General Entrance ticket.
For those aiming to experience as much of the race as possible, there is a new camping site next to the track, in the area alongside the “Pouhon”-corner. This camping site is reserved for motorhomes only and, as always, a first-come, first-served policy will be applied. You can book your tickets for this camping site through ticketmaster.be as well.
With all this in mind, you might find it very hard to wait until the last weekend of July to see the cars of the Total 24 Hours of Spa in action on one of the most beautiful tracks in the world. But there is a solution for that. You can have a first glance at the impressive grid of GT cars during the Official Test Day on Wednesday June 24th. And you know what? For that day, the entrance to the Spa track is absolutely free.

Founded in 1735 by Jehan-Jacques Blancpain, the watch brand bearing his name is the oldest in the world. Blancpain is currently engaged to the renewal of mechanical watchmaking and to passing on exceptional expertise from one generation to the next through constant investment in human resources, production facilities and research. This approach is its strength and the expression of our long-term vision, even though it goes against the tide of a certain tendency to seek immediate profit. From the creation of components through to watch design, Blancpain is distinguished by its ability to develop exceptional movements. Over the past ten years, the Manufacture has indeed developed no less than 35 new calibres.
Through its various models, Blancpain preserves its heritage of precision and elegance, while also displaying an innovative and occasionally provocative spirit.
