Italian team Krypton Motorsport has entered the inaugural season of the GT Sports Club, the new championship of SRO Motorsports Group reserved for Bronze drivers. Krypton Motorsport will bring a Porsche 911 GT3 R to the opening round in Barcelona.
The Espiritu de Montjuic-meeting on the Circuit de Catalunya (April 17th-19th) will go down in the history of Team Krypton as their first meeting in an SRO Motorsports Group organized championship. The team, lead by Stefano Pezzucchi, both driver and Team Principal, looks at the international series with great interest as they see it as an opportunity to exploit the full potential of the Porsche 911 GT3 R. They are also looking forward to racing on the circuits of this championship for GT3 cars and Bronze drivers, not only to compete with peers, but also take advantage of a range of VIP services, including hotel accommodation, airport transfer service and first class catering and hospitality facilities.
Stefano Pezzucchi (Team Principal): “Of course both my team and I are very happy to take part in the opening race of the new GT Sports Club championship held in Barcelona. This race will mark our debut in an SRO competition but I hope we will be able to take part in other races of the GT Sports Club championship and maybe even some races of the Blancpain Endurance Series. This is why we are currently talking to a few interested drivers and we aim to show our potential as a team/car package in our first race in Barcelona.”
