Belgian Frédéric Vervisch will join Marco Bonanomi and Filip Salaquarda in the I.S.R. Racing Audi R8 during the races of the 2015 Blancpain Endurance Series. It makes the trio one of the outsiders in the quest for this year’s Pro Cup.
28-year-old Frédéric Vervisch has been active in the two most recent seasons of the Blancpain Endurance Series, competing for Boutsen Ginion. Together with David Dermont the Belgian scored a Pro-Am Cup win in the 2013 Le Castellet round. Before switching to GT racing, Vervisch notched up several single seater titles, like the German and Asian F3 title.
Frédéric Vervisch (Audi #74): “It was my aim to race in a highly professional context this year, and when I was introduced to the I.S.R. Racing squad, I was immediately convinced. To be able to compete alongside two quick team-mates like Marco and Filip is a good thing to look forward to, I am sure we can have a go at some good results.”
