Belgian squad Curbstone Corse will start next year’s Total 24 Hours of Spa with a Ferrari 458 GT3 of AF Corse. Patrick Van Glabeke, reigning GT-champion in the Supercar Challenge, will get the company of two of his countrymen – Raf Vleugels and Louis-Philippe Soenen – and Dutchman Martin Lanting. The quartet will enter the Gentlemen Trophy.
Patrick Van Glabeke: “We all have a considerable experience at the wheel of GT3-cars, even though we might set a record for the highest age average (smiles). It has always been my dream to start in this endurance classic, and since 2016 will probably see some new GT3-machines, this was the best moment for us to start in the Total 24 Hours of Spa. Even though Curbstone Corse has its own Ferrari in the workshop, we decided to go for the experience of AF Corse to enter the classic. Through our trackdays we know each other well and through their professionalism we should be able to get a good result.”
