Local ace Morris Schuring sent the #2 Boutsen VDS Porsche to the top of the times in Free Practice 2 at Zandvoort.
The Dutchman posted a 1m34.450s, which was almost two tenths quicker than title challenger Ricardo Feller could achieve in the #80 Lionspeed GP Porsche. The Swiss posted a 1m34.643s aboard the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa-winning car.
P3 went to Ben Green, who continued teammate Thierry Vermeulen's strong showing from FP1. The Emil Frey Racing driver was 0.120s off Feller and 0.082s ahead of fellow Ferrari man Arthur Leclerc, who took P4 in his AF Corse entry.
The returning Klaus Bachler was predictably fast in the Razoon - more than racing Porsche, which placed fifth. Then it was the best of the Gold Cup runners, Tom Fleming, who placed P6 overall in the #58 Garage 59 McLaren.
The Bronze Cup leader was next with Eddie Cheever taking seventh overall in the #93 Ziggo Sport Tempesta Racing Porsche. The #10 Boutsen VDS Porsche, the #51 AF Corse Ferrari and the #3 Mercedes-AMG Team Verstappen Racing completed the top 10.
The championship-leading #32 Team WRT BMW was 11th, while the #48 Winward Racing Mercedes-AMG could only manage 17th. One spot back was the best of the Silver Cup runners, Guilherme Oliveira, who placed 18th overall in the #5 Optimum Motorsport McLaren.
The session was largely uninterrupted, save for a full-course yellow with around 25 minutes left on the clock. This was required to recover the #163 VSR Lamborghini, which had stopped on-track.
The event resumes on Saturday with Qualifying 1 at 09:50 and Race 1 at 13:15. Both will be steamed live and free on the GT World YouTube channel.
