Fans attending the season-opening GT World event at Circuit Paul Ricard on 10-12 April can look forward to very a special celebration of Lamborghini, with more than a dozen highly significant cars set to be displayed at the French track.
The line-up runs from the sixties chic of the 400 GT to cutting-edge supercars such as the Revuelto and the Temerario. Attendees can also expect to see two examples of the original Diablo SVR, as well as the Aventador, Countach, Diablo GTR, Murcielago, Miura, Gallardo and Huracán on display during the weekend.
This remarkable collection of automotive history will celebrate the launch of the brand's original one-make series, the Lamborghini Supertrophy. Featuring a full grid of Diablo SV-Rs and supported by Philippe Charriol Watches, it began life in 1996 under the guidance of SRO Motorsports Group and was the first racing programme directly linked to the Sant'Agata Bolognese brand.
"It was a great one-make series," Stéphane Ratel recalled. "It helped change the image of Lamborghini.
"The idea of GT3 came from this: fast, reliable, inexpensive to run, fun to drive," he added. "These are the key factors. Through the Lamborghini Supertrophy I experienced everything that became the FIA GT3 European Championship and that has [since] been adopted everywhere."
The series would ultimately lead to the creation of Lamborghini Super Trofeo in 2009, with additional regional variations launched in Asia (2012) and North America (2013) as well as an annual Super Trofeo World Final that began in 2013.

The link with SRO remains just as strong today, with Lamborghini Super Trofeo set to open its 2026 season as part of the GT World event. Fans will also see the Temerario GT3 make its European debut as part of the headlining GT World Challenge powered by AWS contest, while the Italian marque's Gallardo much-loved model is expected feature in the new GT3 Revival Series.
The display cars will be found at three locations: the roundabout at the entrance to the paddock, and both inside and outside the main hall. There will also be a Lamborghini store from which fans can grab a souvenir of the anniversary event.
