Five reasons to join us at Circuit Paul Ricard

Five reasons to join us at Circuit Paul Ricard

GT World is back! A huge grid of jaw-dropping cars will be at Circuit Paul Ricard on 11/12 April for a six-hour race that runs from 18:00 on Saturday evening and ends at midnight.

This is one of the most spectacular events of the year: drivers compete against a stunning sunset backdrop, with the final hours staged in darkness. There's a festival atmosphere away from the circuit, with a wealth of fan activities and entertainment planned for the weekend.

GT World sets the global standard in multi-class GT racing

No fewer than 10 different manufacturers compete in the series, with high-performance machinery from Audi, Aston Martin, BMW, Corvette, Ferrari, Ford, Lamborghini, McLaren, Mercedes-AMG and Porsche.

There are plenty of big-name drivers, too: Jules Gounon, Valentino Rossi, Raffaele Marciello, Mirko Bortolotti, Dorian Boccolacci, Lilou Wadoux, Nicki Thiim and Arthur Leclerc are just some of the international stars you will see in the paddock.

As for the teams, you'll find global giants like AF Corse and Team WRT, as well as Max Verstappen's new Verstappen Racing squad.

It's the first chance to see the class of 2026 in action

The opening race give us the first chance this year to see the class of 2026 – including the new Lamborghini Temerario. The car has big shoes to fill: its predecessor, the Huracán, won everything on offer, including last year's CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa.

Though the models are the same, we will also see 'evo' versions of the Ferrari 296, Ford Mustang and Porsche 911 – and what better way to experience these cars than in person?

In addition to several new cars there will be more than 30 series rookies on the grid this weekend, most of them young drivers competing in the Silver Cup. Some drivers are back after a few years away, including Jonny Adam, Niklas Nielsen and Dani Juncadella. There will new liveries, too, so make sure there's space on your phone for plenty of pictures.

The fan experience is second to none

Want to get up close and personal with the biggest GT series in the world? This is your chance. All tickets include entry to the paddock, allowing you to go behind the scenes and experience the unique atmosphere of an international race event.

Featuring a DJ stage, stalls, a photo booth, bars, food trucks and a giant screen, the Fan Zone set in the heart of the paddock will be another must-visit attraction. The party promises to be especially electric on Saturday evening.

Pit walks, grid walks and autograph sessions will also be organised, and there will be plenty of supercars on display in the paddock. Don't miss the special Lamborghini showcase, which celebrate 30 years of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo with a selection of stunning models.

This isn’t just a race: it’s a GT festival

GT World events always feature a packed support line-up, and 2026 will be no different. The GT4 European Series begins its season with a wide variety of brands on the grid, while the one-make Lamborghini Super Trofeo also kicks off at Circuit Paul Ricard.

And if you like seeing history in action, check out the new GT3 Revival Series. This five-round championship features the first generation of GT3 cars and makes its debut appearance as part of the season-opening GT World weekend.

All three series will race twice – first on Saturday, then on Sunday – meaning there is action on-track throughout the weekend.

Tickets are exceptional value

Does all of that sound impressive? Definitely! But that doesn’t mean it costs a fortune.  A Saturday ticket – which includes access to the popular sunset party – costs just 25€, while a weekend pass costs 35€. Both options include paddock access as standard. Under 12s can attend free of charge when accompanied by a paying adult, and they’re well catered for in the Fan Zone.
