2026 ENTRY: Mercedes-AMG confirms huge presence for upcoming season

Mercedes-AMG has announced a huge presence on the 2026 GT World Challenge powered by AWS grid, with 10 cars set to contest the Endurance Cup and six confirmed for the Sprint Cup.

In Endurance, the Affalterbach brand will be represented by three Pro crews – Mercedes-AMG Team Verstappen Racing, Mercedes-AMG Team GetSpeed and Mercedes-AMG Team Mann-Filter – while GetSpeed Team BartoneBros will compete in the Silver Cup. No fewer than six AMG crews will contend for Bronze Cup honours, with entries from GetSpeed, GetSpeed Team Noble Racing, 75 Express, Winward Racing, Grupo Prom Racing Team, and 2 Seas Motorsport

The brand's Sprint-Cup entry is drawn from the same set of teams. Mercedes-AMG Team Verstappen Racing and Winward Racing will compete in Pro, while GetSpeed Team BartoneBros tackles the Silver Cup. The Bronze Cup entry comprises GetSpeed, Winward Racing and 2 Seas Motorsport.

Drivers have been announced for each of these programmes. Notably, the successful #48 Winward Racing Team Mann-Filter squad now includes Luca Stolz as the Endurance driver alongside Maro Engel and Lucas Auer. The Mercedes-AMG Team GetSpeed crew for Endurance also comprises a trio of factory drivers, with Maxime Martin, Maximilian Götz and Fabian Schiller sharing the wheel.

British GT champions Charles Dawson and Kiern Jewiss will chase European glory aboard the 2 Seas Motorsport entry, while Kenny Habul is joined by former series champion Dominik Baumann and rising star Hadrien David in the 75 Express machine.

"Our line-up reflects the exceptionally high quality of our customer sports programme," said Stefan Wendl, Head of Mercedes-AMG Customer Racing. "With its sprint and endurance format, the series is extremely demanding, but we are ready to take on the challenge with a strong driver and team line-up.

"Our goal is to once again demonstrate the competitiveness of the Mercedes-AMG GT3, achieve top results in both classifications and compete for the title in both the individual classes and the overall standings."

The 2026 campaign gets underway at Circuit Paul Ricard on the weekend of 11/12 April, while the opening Sprint Cup contest will take place at Brands Hatch on 2/3 May. Tickets for both of these events and others – including the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa – are on sale now. Click here for more information.
