2026 Entry: Rutronik to run Lamborghini factory trio Niederhauser, Engstler and Mapelli in new Temerario

Rutronik Racing will field Lamborghini factory drivers Patric Niederhauser, Luca Engstler and Marco Mapelli this season as it debuts the Temerario GT3.

The Klaus Graf-led team won last year's Endurance title with Porsche and has since switched to the Italian marque to run its new model. Niederhauser remains part of the line-up having moved from Porsche to Lamborghini with Rutronik, while his teammates as both established Lambo drivers.

Engstler won last year's CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa with the brand and has quickly established himself among the fastest young stars in global GT racing. Mapelli, meanwhile, is a Lamborghini legend, with almost 10 years' service and a clutch of international wins and titles to his name.

The team is expected to announce a further entry for 2026, having typically run two cars in recent years.

The 2026 campaign gets underway at Circuit Paul Ricard on the weekend of 11/12 April, while the opening Sprint Cup contest will take place at Brands Hatch on 2/3 May. Tickets for both of these events and others – including the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa – are on sale now. Click here for more information.
