Fanatec GT Europe stalwarts Chris Mies and Fred Vervisch are among a five-strong contingent of European drivers who have joined the Ford Performance factory line-up for 2024.
The long-time Audi Sport representatives – Mies drove with the Ingolstadt marque for more than a decade – have been added to the American brand's roster along with Dennis Olsen, Ben Barker and Andy Priaulx. Olsen and Barker were both on the Fanatec GT Europe grid last term, while Priaulx is set to act as a “super sub” and share his vast experience with Ford's younger drivers.
Joey Hand, Dirk Müller, Harry Tincknell and Mike Rockenfeller were previously confirmed as part of the Dearborn factory setup. While specific programmes are yet to be announced, this nine-man squad will be available to the brand's customers around the world as the Mustang GT3 makes its hotly anticipated debut.
In Fanatec GT Europe, the successful Dinamic GT outfit has already confirmed its intention to run the car in 2024. The Italian team has suggested that it will contest both the Sprint Cup and Endurance Cup next term. This will mark the Ford brand's first appearance in Fanatec GT Europe since 2012, when Marc VDS ran a previous incarnation of the Mustang at the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa.
