- 62 cars ready to tackle two days of official testing for 2022 TotalEnergies 24 Hours of Spa
- 16 hours of track action in preparation for Belgian endurance classic

Preparations for the 2022 TotalEnergies 24 Hours of Spa will move into the final phase this week when 62 cars tackle two days of official testing at the legendary Ardennes venue (21-22 June).
The annual test begins the build-up to the twice-around-the-clock event and will provide teams with an important opportunity to fine-tune their equipment at the 7km Spa-Francorchamps circuit. Many of the test day entrants have travelled directly to the track from the Netherlands after Zandvoort staged the fifth Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS event of the season last weekend (17-19 June).
While it does not represent the full line-up for the race, the crews scheduled to undertake this week's test provide an idea of how the field will look when the action begins on the afternoon of 30 July. This year's full entry list is set to be revealed on Tuesday (21 June) and will once again bring together leading teams and drivers to compete for glory in the world's most prestigious GT3 contest.
The 2022 Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS Endurance Cup contenders are set to be joined on-track by a number of one-off entrants, including Orange1 KPAX Racing (Lamborghini), Heart of Racing with TF Sport (Aston Martin) and Walkenhorst Motorsport (BMW). Several additional squads will field Porsche machinery, including Spa newcomer EMA Motorsport, 2019 overall winner GPX Racing, and Hong Kong-based outfit KCMG.
Among the familiar names there will be a fleet of five cars from Team WRT (Audi), while the Ferrari contingent includes reigning overall winner Iron Lynx and the all-female Iron Dames crew. Bentley is represented by French squad CMR, which is set to run with a striking 'art car' livery, while Mercedes-AMG and McLaren also enjoy a strong presence.
The official test days will feature 16 hours of running, beginning on Tuesday at 09:00 CEST with a three-hour morning session. Track activity will resume at 13:00 and continue uninterrupted until 18:00, while Wednesday's schedule repeats the same format. with the circuit open to the public throughout and admission offered free of charge.
Fans will therefore enjoy a unique opportunity to catch a glimpse of this year’s protagonists, all of whom are looking to write their names into the history of this iconic race.
