The Bronze test, reserved for the Bronze drivers participating in the second round of the 2014 Blancpain Endurance Series, turned out to be very eventful. The session, held on a wet Circuit of Silverstone, was interrupted several times, the first time shortly after the start, when the #35 Nissan GT Academy Team RJN GT-R hit the wall on its out lap. The front of the car was heavily damaged.
The early part of the session was dominated by Andy Schulz in the #128 Horse Power Racing Aston Martin, who eventually clocked a lap time of 2’28.333. It looked it would be the best time of the session, until Henry Hassid took the #12 TDS Racing BMW to a 2’26.385. Tomorrow’s action starts at 9am, with the 90 minute Free Practice session.
