Karim Ojjeh will drive another season of the Blancpain Endurance Series with the Boutsen Ginion Team.
The Belgian squad will, as in 2013, enter a McLaren MP4-12C GT3.
Olivier Lainé (team manager): “We are pleased to continue our adventure with Karim Ojjeh. Karim knows the McLaren MP4-12C GT3 very well by now and this will help us to achieve our future goals as 2014 will be a year full of challenges for our team.”
Karim Ojjeh (driver): “It was a very hard winter season in terms of deciding whether to stay with Boutsen and McLaren or whether to switch to another team and car. The amount of work and time spent in talking to the teams and manufacturers is not something that should be underestimated. In the end, I am putting my trust for the 2014 season in the Boutsen Ginion team again. The team will do its utmost best to persevere and McLaren has some unfinished business left. Come April and the first race in Monza, we will be ready to fight!”
