Tickets are now on sale for this season's Sprint Cup event at Misano on 1-3 July.
The annual visit to the Adriatic coast will be the final Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS event before the TotalEnergies 24 Hours of Spa (28-31 July) as well as the penultimate stop on the Sprint Cup calendar. This will be the eighth season in succession that the short-format series has competed at the track, tying Misano with Brands Hatch as the Sprint Cup's most visited venue.
A pair of 60-minute races will run on the challenging 4.2km circuit, while qualifying and practice sessions will bring the total amount of GT3 track time to more than five hours. A host of high-level support series will also form part of the event, including the Lamborghini Super Trofeo, Fanatec GT2 European Series and GT4 European Series.
The 2022 Sprint Cup contest is sure to be a hit with Valentino Rossi's army of passionate fans. Misano is the Italian's home event and will see him competing in an Audi for front-running outfit Team WRT. The track has been a happy hunting ground for the Belgian squad in recent seasons, with seven overall wins from their past four visits, giving Rossi a serious shot at victory on home soil.
