SRO Motorsports Group will be present at the upcoming Essen Motor Show where it will display machinery from its European-based GT2, GT3 and GT4 championships.
The exhibit will feature a total of seven cars that span the organiser's leading GT classes. The new GT2 category will be represented by an Audi R8 LMS GT2, the same model that clinched the inaugural Fanatec GT2 European Series Pro-Am title this season.
JP Motorsport will bring three cars: the McLaren 720S GT3 and 570S GT4, and a Mercedes-AMG GT3. The team, which is based in nearby Erkelenz, recently confirmed that it will undertake a full-season Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS programme in 2022.
Allied-Racing stepped up to the series this year and will also display a GT3 model with its Porsche 911 GT3-R. The German squad will be further represented on the SRO stand, with its race-winning Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport completing the exhibit.
A third GT4 will be displayed courtesy of Team Zakspeed, which will bring a Mercedes-AMG GT4. The team scored GT4 European Series victory on home turf this season by triumphing at the Nürburgring.
Tracing its roots back to 1968, the Essen Motor Show is primarily focused on performance vehicles, tuning and race machinery. This year's edition will run from Saturday 27 November through to Sunday 5 December, preceded by a preview day on 26 November. The SRO exhibit will be located in Hall 8 at stands 8A24 and 8A25.
