Jules Gounon kept AKKA ASP on top in pre-qualifying at Zandvoort, shading the sister Mercedes-AMG of Raffaele Marciello by just 0.001s.
The Frenchman led the majority of the session after posting a benchmark time of 1m35.297s. Marciello came as close as possible to matching his stablemate, continuing the team's fine form after Jim Pla topped this morning's free practice in the #87 machine.
Pierre-Alexandre Jean was third in the #107 CMR Bentley, providing an excellent confidence boost following a tough morning session for the French squad. The Bentley also led the Silver Cup classification, closely followed by the #90 Madpanda Motorsport Mercedes-AMG driven by Ezequiel Perez Companc.
Christopher Haase was the fastest Audi runner in the #25 Saintéloc Racing machine, followed by Magny-Cours winners Toksport WRT (#6 Mercedes-AMG) and Team WRT (#32 Audi). Morning pace-setter Pla was eighth overall and third among the Silver runners.
Jonny Adam put Garage 59 on top in the Pro-Am class. The #188 Aston Martin was 19th overall, 0.029s and two places clear of Dominik Baumann's #20 SPS Mercedes-AMG. The full session results can be viewed here.
