Following the announcement of its Intercontinental GT Challenge Powered by Pirelli programme, Orange1 FFF Racing has now confirmed its entry in the Endurance Cup of the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS.
The Lamborghini squad's expectations are high and are built on the great competitiveness shown in the second part of the 2020 season, when the team led for most of the race at the Total 24 Hours of Spa and finished on the podium at the Paul Ricard 1000 Kms. In 2019, the title was conquered thanks to three podium finishes and victory in the final three-hour round at Barcelona.
At the wheel of the #63 Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO has been confirmed a top-class driver line-up, with Andrea Caldarelli, Marco Mapelli and Mirko Bortolotti, all Lamborghini factory drivers. Their bid for the 2021 title will kick off mid-April at Monza, which will be followed by the Paul Ricard 1000 KMs at the end of May, the Total 24 Hours of Spa at the end of July, and three-hour races at the Nürburgring (September) and Barcelona (October).
Fu Songyang, Team Owner Orange1 FFF Racing Team: “I am delighted to contest again a prestigious series such as the GT World Challenge Europe. We definitely trust to be among the front-runners that will fight for the title."
