Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe has revealed its 2021 calendar, with five of the championship's six events set to form part of the GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS support package.
Next season will be see the Super Trofeo race alongside SRO Motorsports Group's premier European GT3 series for an 11th year in succession. This follows an agreement between Automobili Lamborghini and SRO, signed in late 2019, that will ensure the partnership continues through at least 2022.
Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe will be present for the opening rounds of the Endurance Cup at Monza (16-18) and Circuit Paul Ricard (28-30 May), the latter a regular fixture on the Super Trofeo Europe calendar since the inception of the championship in 2009.
It will then make its lone appearance on the Sprint Cup schedule, competing at Dutch venue Zandvoort on 18-20 June. Next, Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe reprises its role on the Total 24 Hours of Spa support package (29 July-1 August), continuing a long association with the marquee race.
The one-make series will undertake a fifth and final appearance alongside GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS at the Nürburgring (3-5 September). Its deciding round for 2021 will be a standalone event at Lamborghini's local venue, Misano, on 28-29 October.
