Already an established force in British GT, Team Parker Racing first joined the Endurance Cup in 2015 with an Audi R8 LMS. The Leicestershire squad made an instant impression by taking Am Cup victory at the Total 24 Hours of Spa, a result that also helped to propel Ian Loggie and Julian Westwood to the class title.
The following year saw Team Parker link up with Bentley, beginning a partnership that continues to this day. Pro-Am class pole at the Total 24 Hours of Spa and a runner-up finish in the Am Cup at the Nürburgring were the highlights of the 2016 season, after which the team stepped away from the Endurance Cup to focus fully on British GT. It paid dividends as Rick Parfitt Jnr and rising star Seb Morris took the overall title, inspiring a return to European competition for 2018.
For the next two years Morris, Derek Pierce and Rob Smith anchored a Pro-Am line-up in the Endurance Cup. They began strongly with podiums at Monza and Circuit Paul Ricard, but a challenging 2019 season followed.
A new project begins in 2020, with Team Parker Racing running the new Bentley Motorsport Academy programme. Young talents Frank Bird, Nicolai Kjaergaard and Euan McKay will drive the team's Continental GT3 in the Silver Cup class as they look to follow in Morris' footsteps and become a fully fledged Bentley factory driver.
Led by team principal Stuart Parker, the team also remains active in British GT and the British Touring Car Championship. It is based in Leicestershire, within an hour of both Silverstone and Donington Park.
