The final entry list for this weekend's GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS season opener at Imola has been confirmed.
The grid remains at 46 cars, with 10 brands represented. Pro-Am has gained an entrant, with the #44 SPS Automotive Performance Mercedes-AMG switching from the Am Cup and boosting the field to 12 cars. The driver line-up will consist of Christian Hook, Florian Scholze and Nico Bastian, the latter getting a late call-up to join an all-German crew.
The Silver Cup has also added an extra car, with Attempto Racing fielding Alex Aka, Nicolas Schöll and Tommaso Mosca in its #55 Audi. As such the Silver class will consist of 11 cars at Imola, with 22 all-pro crews and one Am Cup runner.
A number of driver line-ups have been finalised ahead of free practice beginning on Saturday morning. Matthieu Vaxivière joins the #31 Belgian Audi Club Team WRT crew, while AKKA ASP's Silver Cup Mercedes-AMG has added 2018 class champion Alex Fontana. The #26 Sainteloc Audi will compete for Pro-Am honours with Arthur Rougier completing its trio, while the #107 CMR Bentley now includes Romanian racer Petru Răzvan Umbrărescu.
All of this weekend's action will be streamed live, beginning with free practice at 09:00 CET on Saturday. This will be followed by pre-qualifying at 13:10, with both sessions running for 90 minutes. The all-important qualifying will take place at 17:30 on Saturday evening, setting the grid for Sunday's three-hour race. This kicks off at 13:30 and will open the 10th season of Endurance Cup competition. Every session will be free to watch on the GT World Challenge Europe website and Facebook pages, as well as the GT World YouTube channel.
