Tech1 Racing is set to contest the full GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS season with its Lexus RC F GT3.
The Toulouse squad ran the Japanese car for the bulk of the 2019 campaign, fielding an Am Cup effort at Endurance events and competing for overall honours at a selection of Sprint rounds.
They have now increased their commitment to the series, confirming an all-French line-up that will compete for Silver Cup honours. Aurelien Panis and Thomas Neubauer will contest the full 10-round championship, forming a duo at Sprint events, with Timothé Buret joining for the Endurance schedule.
Neubauer is the reigning Silver drivers' champion in the Sprint Cup, having captured the 2019 title alongside Nico Bastian in an AKKA ASP Mercedes-AMG, and will now look to add further class success with Tech 1.
25-year-old Panis remains part of the team having appeared at three Sprint rounds last term, taking a best finish of fifth at the Nurburgring. The Frenchman has also been confirmed as an 'official driver' for the Lexus brand.
Buret is similarly well-known to Tech1, having supported the Am Cup line-up at last year's Total 24 Hours of Spa. The youngster has further experience in GTs and prototypes for the squad.
"We are very pleased to collaborate again with Lexus," commented team manager Sarah Abadie. "This year, we give all our confidence to youth with this trio of Silver pilots, whose average age is 23.
"We would like to warmly thank Lexus for having placed their trust in us to continue our collaboration with the RC F GT3 and are very grateful that beyond the technical and sporting part, Lexus supported our idea of creating a programme with young drivers in order to to help energise this great brand in the world of world GT racing."
Tech1 Racing will be present for the GT World Challenge Europe test days at Circuit Paul Ricard on 12-13 March. The season-opening race takes place at Monza over the weekend of 18-19 April.
