The Italian squad of ROAL Motorsport has announced its driver line-up for the 2014 Blancpain Endurance Series. Michela Cerruti and Stefano Comandini, both regular ROAL drivers, will be joined by Eugenio Amos, the winner of the 2010 Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo in Pro-Am. The 28-year-old Italian also finished third in the 2012 in Pro-Am Cup of the Blancpain Endurance Series. The three Italians will be at the wheel of a BMW Z4 GT3.
ROAL Motorsport had previously confirmed its entry in the Blancpain Sprint Series, where Roberto Ravaglia’s squad will enter a specially modified 2014-spec BMW Z4 GT3 for former ChampCar-champion and Olympic Gold medallist Alex Zanardi.
Eugenio Amos (driver): “To race for ROAL Motorsport BMW Team and Roberto Ravaglia is a new challenge for me. This is a fantastic opportunity. It will be my third full-time season in the Blancpain Endurance Series. I like the endurance races, I think they are the sexiest races that exist! I have no experience with the BMW Z4 GT3 yet, but I saw the car in action during the last two seasons and my impression was that this is a great racing car.”
