Dinamic Motorsport has confirmed two of the drivers who will spearhead its maiden season of Blancpain GT Series competition.
The Italian outfit will contest the Endurance Cup this year, fielding a new-spec Porsche 911 GT3 R in the top-tier Pro category. Having announced the programme before Christmas, Dinamic has now revealed that Klaus Bachler and Andrea Rizzoli will fill two of its three seats for the 2019 campaign.
The line-up will be led by 27-year-old Bachler. The Austrian racer is no stranger to Porsche equipment and has prior experience as a junior driver for the Stuttgart marque. Having made a one-off appearance in the Blancpain GT Series Sprint Cup during the 2017 campaign, Bachler will be getting his first taste of the Endurance Cup this term.
The same is not true of his new teammate. Rizzoli transfers over from the Ombra Racing squad, with which he took Silver class victory at last year’s Total 24 Hours of Spa. The 33-year-old Italian was also Pro-Am champion during the 2014 Endurance Cup campaign and brings a wealth of experience in the series and its marquee event.
A third driver for the programme will be announced ahead of the season-opening race, which takes place at Monza on 12-14 April. The team will also be present at the series' official test days at Circuit Paul Ricard on 13/14 March.
