SRO Motorsports Group wishes to provide the following medical updates in relation to last weekend’s Total 24 Hours of Spa.
Due to an accident in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo support race, one track marshal and one driver were transferred to hospital for medical checks. As of Wednesday, both have returned home.
During the Total 24 Hours of Spa, three drivers were hospitalised in two separate incidents. Stephane Ortelli was transferred to hospital for checks and has since returned home.
Andy Meyrick and Jurgen Krebs were injured in a crash that occurred during the night hours of the race. They were transferred to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and are making good progress. Both are expected to be released from hospital by the end of the week.
SRO Motorsports Group would like to take this opportunity to once again thank all of the track workers and medical staff at Circuit Spa-Francorchamps for their efforts over the weekend.
