Italian squad Team Lazarus have announced their driver line-up for the 2018 Blancpain GT Series.
The Padova-based outfit will field a Lamborghini Huracán GT3 in all five Endurance Cup rounds this season, focussing their attention on the Pro-Am class.
They will do so with Miguel Ramos and Fabrizio Crestani sharing driving duties of their Huracán, which will get its first competitive outing of the year on home soil at Monza (20-22 April).
Crestani extends his long-term association with the Italian squad, having piloted Lazarus-run machinery in single-seaters and GT racing. He contested the Blancpain GT Series for Lazarus in 2017, scoring Silver class podiums at Hungaroring and Nürburgring.
He is joined this season by Ramos, who brings vast knowledge to the team having claimed domestic and international GT titles during his long career. The Portuguese racer also has previous Blancpain GT Series experience having made appearances in 2015 and 2017.
Lazarus will begin serious preparations for the new campaign at the series’ official test days, which take place at Circuit Paul Ricard on 13/14 March.
