The one-hour Bronze Test was the first track action of the Blancpain GT Series season finale at the Circuit de Catalunya near Barcelona. Apart from a few harmless visits to the gravel traps causing two red flag interruptions, the session went largely incident-free. In the end it was Daniele Perfetti in the #89 AKKA ASP Mercedes-AMG who set the fastest time of the Bronze drivers participating in the preparatory session. His time was 0.227 of a second quicker than Hunter Abbott’s in the #77 Barwell Motorsport Lamborghini and another 0.111 of a second quicker than 2017 Pro-Am Cup winner Alexander Mattschull’s, at the wheel of his #333 Rinaldi Racing Ferrari.
On Saturday the free practice session starts at 9.00 CEST, with the pre-qualifying session starting at 16.40 CEST.
