The 30-year old is the head of the Thurn & Taxis family, which was ennobled in the 15th century and is credited with having invented the modern-day postal system. Von Thurn & Taxis has been racing for Reiter Engineering since 2006. Together with the Bavarian based team, he was ADAC GT Masters championship runner-up in 2007 and 2008, before winning the title in 2010.
