The brand new Peugeot 308 Racing Cup, reserved for the 308 BHP strong Peugeot 308 RC, will be part of the SRO promoted FFSA French Circuit Championship, Peugeot Sport has announced. The spectacular single-make series will also be one of the support races of the 2017 Total 24 Hours of Spa, the highlight of the Blancpain GT Series.
It was double Total 24 Hours of Spa-winner Frédéric Bouvy who had the honour to race the Peugeot 308 RC this weekend on the Belgian track of Mettet, as part of the international presentation of the new car. Peugeot Sport now accepts orders for their new and powerful hatchback, a car which can be entered in multiple international championship like the TCR or ETCC, but has also its own series, the 308 Racing Cup.
Peugeot Sport has decided to integrate the 308 Racing Cup in the new French Circuit Championship of the FFSA, meetings promoted by the SRO Motorsports Group. Next to five meetings in France there will also be a very prestigious fourth round of the season, when the 308 Racing Cup will be part of the build up to the Total 24 Hours of Spa.
