Four cars have had their Superpole lap times cancelled, dropping them down the order for today's CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa. The best-placed on the provisional grid was the #50 AF Corse Ferrari, which qualified third but has been penalised for running without a working data logger.
The other three cars have all been penalised for not complying with the Balance of Performance. They are the #66 Tresor Attempto Racing Audi which had taken sixth on the grid, as well as both of Aston Martin's Pro cars, the #7 Comtoyou Racing and the #34 Walkenhorst Motorsport.
The most significant consequence of these penalties is that the #66 Audi loses Silver Cup pole, which now belongs to the #6 GetSpeed Team Bartone Bros Mercedes-AMG. The Aston Martins had qualified in 24th and 25th respectively and will only lose a handful of positions.
The four penalised cars will drop to the rear of the 32-car Superpole order. A final grid will be published ahead of this afternoon's race, which gets underway at 16:30 and will be streamed live on the GT World YouTube channel.
