2026 ENTRIES: Multiple team and driver announcements ahead of full entry list reveal

GT World Challenge powered by AWS teams have been announcing their 2026 plans ahead of the official entry list announcement later today (Thursday 25 February).

Kessel Racing was arguably the standout squad of 2025, dominating the Bronze Cup with its #74 Ferrari. Dustin Blattner and Dennis Marschall (below) will both defend their titles, with Lorenzo Patrese returning to the series as the Swiss outfit's Endurance driver.

A second Kessel Racing Ferrari has been confirmed for a Sprint assault in the Bronze Cup. Marco Pulcini moves across from the rival Tempesta Racing squad, while Kessel mainstay David Fumanelli will be his teammate.

Last year's Silver Cup Endurance champions Century Motorsport (below) will switch to the Bronze Cup class in 2026, entering its #42 BMW under the Oman Racing by Century Motorsport banner.

Ahmad Al Harthy returns to the grid to lead the line-up. The Omani ace wrote a piece of history in 2024 when he was part of the first Bronze Cup crew to win overall, triumphing in a remarkable contest at Monza

He will be joined by Calan Williams – a two-time class champion in Sprint – and series newcomer Javier  Sagrera. The latter has predominantly raced in single-seaters, finishing as Eurocup-3 runner-up in 2024.

Walkenhotst Motorsport clinched Silver Cup honours at last year's CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa, adding to the overall win it took at the event in 2018. This term, the Lower Saxony-based team will field two full-season Aston Martin entries.

In Endurance, Walkenhorst will run a Pro car for AMR factory drivers Christian Krognes and Henrique Chaves along with rising star Jamie Day. The second Endurance entry will compete in the Silver Cup with Mateo Villagomez and Ethan Ischer already confirmed.

In Sprint, both cars will enter the Silver Cup. Villagomez and Day will also be part of this programme, along with Maxime Robin and inaugural SRO GT Academy winner Gaspard Simon. The exact pairings will be announced at a later date.

Finally, Steller Motorsport has confirmed its first driver for an Endurance programme in the Gold Cup. The British team will once again field a Corvette, and has announced the signing of Dennis Lind (below).

A series veteran and former Lamborghini factory driver, Lind returns to the grid after sitting out the 2025 season. His teammates – who must include at least one Silver-graded driver – will be announced at a later date.

The 2026 campaign gets underway at Circuit Paul Ricard on the weekend of 11/12 April, while the opening Sprint Cup contest will take place at Brands Hatch on 2/3 May. Tickets for both of these events and others – including the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa – are on sale now. Click here for more information.
