The #74 Kessel Racing Ferrari has lost pole position for this evening's Sprint Cup race at Magny-Cours. Dennis Marschall's best lap has been deleted for exceeding track limits at Turn 1, demoting the car to the rear of the 40-car grid.
This means that Luca Engstler will start from P1 in the #63 Grasser Racing Lamborghini alongside Patric Niederhauser in the #96 Rutronik Racing Porsche. A further concequence is that Rafael Suzuki takes Bronze Cup pole – and moves to P11 overall – in the #270 Comtoyou Racing Aston Martin.
