2025 ENTRY: Boutsen VDS targets Silver Cup success with Panis, Gazeau and Cabirou

2025 ENTRY: Boutsen VDS targets Silver Cup success with Panis, Gazeau and Cabirou

Boutsen VDS will field an unchanged Silver class line-up of Cesar Gazeau and Aurélien Panis in this season's Sprint Cup, while Loris Cabirou returns to the team for a crack at Endurance Cup glory.

Gazeau and Panis won last season's overall Silver title and came close to snatching the Sprint crown with a strong run of performances at the end of the campaign. With continuity on their side, the #10 Mercedes-AMG duo will begin 2025 as favourites to go one better in the short-format series.

Their Endurance Cup crew will be completed by Cabirou, who returns to Boutsen VDS having run four Endurance rounds with the team in 2023. The 20-year-old made his series debut in 2022, driving a Lamborghini for AGS Events, and made two starts last term with Grasser Racing. Cabirou also finished third in last season's Lamborghini Super Trofeo World Final.

A highly competitive Silver Cup battle is anticipated in 2025, with strong grids expected in both Sprint and Endurance. The likes of Century Motorsport, Rutronik Racing and Barwell Motorsport have also committed to the class.

Boutsen VDS has also named its full Pro line-up for 2025, which will see the Belgian squad field a full complement of Mercedes-AMG factory drivers in its #9 entry. The team will be present at Circuit Paul Ricard for the pre-season Prologue, which takes place on 10/11 March.
