- Start of centenary edition scheduled for 4:30 PM on Saturday 29 June
- New video highlights a century of history
Saturday 29 June 2024: mark the date in red in your diary. At 4:30 PM, around 70 GT3 cars will set off to attack Raidillon for the first time, launching the centenary edition of the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa.
The countdown to this highly anticipated moment has reached an important milestone. Thursday 21 March marks exactly 100 days before the start of the Belgian endurance classic, which is acknowledged as the biggest GT race in the world.
Billions of litres of water have flowed under the Eau Rouge bridge since the very first running on 19 July 1924. Motorsport has changed enormously: the cars, the circuits, the entertainment provided for the public. But, a century on, there is at least one element that has remained unchanged: the magic and passion of a 24-hour race at Spa-Francorchamps.
