Preparations for this year's CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa are now complete following tonight's Warm Up at Spa-Francorchamps.
Henrique Chaves set the fastest time in the 45-minute session, which was extended by 15 minutes to allow any drivers yet to complete their mandatory night running to do so ahead of tomorrow's race. The #188 Garage 59 McLaren driver circulated in 2m18.730s, beating the sister #188 entry of Marvin Kirchhöfer by just 0.048s.
The #75 Sun Energy1 Mercedes-AMG, which missed Qualifying after Kenny Habul crashed in Pre-Qualifying, logged 12 laps during the session. Adam Osieka will take Habul's place in the Bronze Cup entry.
With the Warm Up complete, all that's left is the main event. The 75th CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa will get underway at 16:30 CEST on Saturday afternoon with the #20 Huber Motorsport Porsche heading a 70-car field. The action will be streamed live and in full on the GT World YouTube channel, with commentary available in English, German, French and Italian.
