With one hour to go in the 2021 edition of the TotalEnergies 24 Hours of Spa, the #51 Iron Lynx Ferrari has a 23-second lead over the #32 Audi Sport Team WRT. Alessandro Pier Guidi more than doubled the gap during his last stint.
Only one pitstop left for the leading cars in the 2021 TotalEnergies 24 Hours of Spa, but it looks like Pier Guidi/Nielsen/Ledogar will drive their #51 Iron Lynx Ferrari to the top step of the podium. With just over two hours to in the Belgian endurance classic light rain hit the Spa-Francorchamps circuit, and it was soon clear that in those conditions Alessandro Pier Guidi felt more comfortable than Dries Vanthoor in the #32 Audi. The Italian driver increased his lead from six to 23 seconds at the 23-hour mark. The #95 Garage 59 Aston Martin is still in third.
With one hour to go, the current class leaders look set for success: the #90 Madpanda Mercedes-AMG in Silver Cup (11th overall), the #53 AF Corse Ferrari (14th overall) in Pro-Am and the #166 Hägeli B T2 Racing Porsche (33rd overall) in Am Cup.
