The #25 Sainteloc Racing Audi topped this afternoon's rain-affected pre-qualifying at Zandvoort thanks to a late lap from Christopher Haase.
The German driver posted a 1m42.495s during the final part of the 80-minute session to knock Rik Breukers (#30 Belgian Audi Club Team) from top spot. A flurry of late efforts on a drying circuit saw the #108 CMR Bentley of Pierre Alexandre Jean and the #31 WRT Audi of Kelvin van der Linde take second and third respectively, shuffling Breakers down to fourth.
Jean also topped the Silver Cup order, while the Pro-Am classification was once again led by the #52 AF Corse Ferrari. On this occasion, it was Andrea Bertolini who posted the car's quickest time.
While the #30 and #31 Belgian Audi Club Team WRT entries both finished among the top four, there was contrasting fortune for the sister #32 machine. Dries Vanthoor brought out the red flag when he went off at at turn nine, beaching his car in the gravel. The championship leader was third at the time but ultimately slipped to 20th as the track dried. The #55 Attempto Racing Audi of Tommaso Mosca also went off, bringing out a second red flag.
This evening's qualifying session gets underway at 17.50 and will set the starting order for both of tomorrow's races. All of the action will be streamed live on the championship’s official website and Facebook pages, as well as the GT World YouTube channel.
